a.) What planet do you live on?
b.) Where's the planet that has rings?
c.) Where is the planet Mars?
2.) Level 3 Activity -
a.)Generate a graph comparing the temperatures of the planets on the dial.
Cookie sheet magnets and 2 sets of pictures of phases of the moon
Directions: Put magnets on labeled pictures. The boy goes in the middle and the phases of the moon go in clockwise order around the boy then have second set to match the phases of the moon.
Form puzzles
Match stars/planets/constellations in a form puzzle with facts about each one. Each recession having a topic with each piece having a fact to match to each topic.
Chipper and Little Step by Step
Use recordable switches with planets pictures on them and ask questions regarding those planets.
High Roller
Press switch to roll dice and the students use a book on planets to find that numbered planet in the order of the solar system.
